Around early 2013, a group of common friends decided to create an e-commerce. The founders Ahmad Ad gathered around along with Tausif Ahmad during an e-Commerce week organised by "Basis." Tausif Ahmad was working in an e-commerce, Ahmad Ad was leading a textile group of company. Later, Ahmad Ad's friend and textile engineer Sazid Rahman, the third Co-Founder joined.

They figured that their struggle of bringing over food was experienced by other consumers as well. In June 2013 everything was finalised on a white board.

HungryNaki has been able to stand its ground by not selling off to bigger companies. It now has a proper structure of marketing, operations, logistics and technology. HungryNaki only takes a small percentage of commission from the total order amount.

"We have strong HR team and want to empower the tribal people who are working with it and most of our staff is young," Ahmed Added.
