Srilankan Airlines holds Road Show to Colombo at USD 400 from Dhaka

Dhaka:

SriLankan Airlines, National Carrier of Sri Lanka introduced a new fare starting at USD 400 + Taxes to Dhaka-Colombo-Dhaka.

SriLankan Airlines launches “Now Fly to Colombo at USD 400” campaign over dinner at Four Points by Sheraton.

Country Manger in Bangladesh Shermal Perera stated the fare has reduced effective from 1 May 2018 to promote more leisure tourists to Sri Lankan.

Srilankan Airlines operates daily flights from Colombo to Dhaka since October 2016.

On that occasion the High Commissioner of Sri Lanka for Bangladesh Chrishanthe De Silva attended as a chief guest and SriLankan Airlines Regional Manager, stationed in New Delhi Chinthaka Weerasinghe also participated at the road show at Four Points by Sheraton on 10 May.

Seven DMC (Destination Management Company) from Sri Lanka held a road show to share tour package offers with local tour operators. DMC’s P. Tilak Weerasinghe, chairman of LSR, Ruwan Fernando, Manager Asia of Diethelam Travel, and Mahesh Wanigasekara, Head of Operations of Hamoos Travels and Ballys Entertainment Among others were present at the Road Show.

SriLankan Airlines made its maiden commercial flight in 1979 and presently operating direct flights to 103 destinations of 48 countries. The airlines’ is the only carrier which flies highest number of flights to most destinations in South Asia, except Afghanistan and Bhutan.
