Tourism Authority of Thailand associates with Regent Airways

: Regent Airways, one of the leading private carriers in the country, has taken a special initiative to make the Thailand tour for travellers from Bangladesh more easier, economic and simple.
The airlines in collaboration with Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), a state-run organisation of Thailand and an associate of Regent Airways announced special roundtrip pricings to Bangkok from Dhaka and Chittagong.
Isra Stapanaseth, Director of TAT, said the offer was to promote 'Amazing Thailand' programme, would provide all sorts of facilities to Bangladeshi tourists travelling to Thailand by Regent Airways.
The special package offer - priced Tk. 18,000 for flights from Dhaka and Tk. 23,796 for flights from Chittagong - also includes complimentary one-night hotel stay in Bangkok if at least two tickets are purchased together, Sohail Majid, Regent Airways Director of Sales and Marketing, said on May 10 at a hotel in Chattogram.
The offer will be valid from May 14 to July 31, according to Regent officials.
Number of tourists from Bangladesh has been growing every year and last year Thailand welcomed 125,130 visitors from Bangladesh - a growth of 21 per cent compared to the previous year, he also said.
Isra Stapanaseth said, "Tourism Authority of Thailand has also special care for the Bangladeshi tourists now. We are also arranging halal food for the Muslim tourists now."
Salman Habib, Deputy Managing Director, Regent Airways said, "After Kolkata, Thailand is prime attraction to Bangladeshi tourists. Regent Airways launched its flights to Thailand from Dhaka and Chittagong in 2014. And from then, the airline has been providing special services to travellers through different packages."
Chief Commercial Officer of Regent Airways, Hanif Zakaria said, the airlines promote Bangladesh in abroad through different initiatives. "We want to promote the echo tourism and introduce the Buddhist Heritage of Bangladesh to the Thai people," he said.
Director (Sales and Marketing) Sohail Majid, General Manager Subrata Shorma of Regent Airways and Marketing Officer of TAT, Vaishali Sharma also spoke among others.
