Dhaka : The newly-elected committee of Aviation Operators Association of Bangladesh (AOAB) has taken over for 2019-2021. On February 18, the new committee took charge at the head office of the Maasranga Television.
Anjan Chowdhury, Managing Director, Square Air Ltd and Mofizur Rahman, Managing Director, NOVOAIR, were elected as President and Secretary General respectively.
A 13-member executive committee was elected for the year 2019-2021.
Yasin Ali, Chairman, Regent Airways and Abdullah Al Mamun, Managing Director, US-Bangla Airlines were elected as Vice Presidents.
The other members of the new committee are Z Mahmud Mamun of Impress Aviation Ltd as Treasurer, Raquibul Kabir of Bangla International Airlines Ltd as Organising Secretary, Md. Arifur Rahman of Sky Capital Airlines Ltd as Publication Secretary, Md. Parvez Rahman of BRB Airlines Ltd as Joint Secretary General, Mostafa Kamal of Meghna Aviation Ltd, Mohammed Younus of Galaxy Flying Academy Ltd, Abdullah Al Zahir Shapan of Blue Flying Academy, Rubel Aziz of Partex Aviation Ltd and Ashish Roy Chowdhury of GMG Airlines Ltd.
Aviation Operators Associa-tion of Bangladesh (AOAB) was formed on February 25, 2012 for the development of the aviation sector of the country.
