AIBL becomes Title Sponsor of Bangabandhu Men's World Cup Qualifier

Dhaka : Al-Arafah Islami Bank Limited (AIBL) has become the Title Sponsor of the Bangabandhu Men's World Cup Qualifier organised by Bangladesh Hockey Federation.
The agreement was signed between Al-Arafah Islami Bank Limited and Bangla-desh Hockey Federation recently at a city hotel.
Air Chief Marshal Masihuzzaman Serniabat, President of Bangladesh Hockey Federation and Farman R Chowdhury, Managing Director and CEO of AIBL signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations.
Dato Tayyab Ikram, Chief Executive Officer of Asian Hockey Federation was also present at the ceremony.
Md Fazlul Karim and SM Jaffar, Deputy Managing Directors of the Bank, Kazi Mahmood Karim, Senior Executive Vice President and Jalal Ahmed, Senior Vice President were also present on the occasion.
Ten teams will take part in the nine rounds of the tournament which will be held in the capital from June 4-12.
Top six teams - India, Pakistan, South Korea, Japan, Malaysia and Bangladesh of Junior Asia Cup 2015 will take part directly in the tournament.
Four qualified teams - China, Oman, Taiwan and Uzbekistan from Junior AHF Cup held in Oman on December 2019 will also take part in the tournament.
The Best four teams of the tournament will qualify for the 16 team FIH Junior World Cup to be held in India in 2021.
