Farm Fresh Children's Day ends
_A Monitor Report 01 Feb, 2019 | 137 Views | - + Dhaka : Farm Fresh Children's Day, a specialised children's carnival wrapped up on January 26 with a vow to create opportunities of open air exercise for city kids after experiencing enthusiastic participation from children and parents at the two-day carnival.
Akij Food and Beverage Limi-ted (AFBL), a concern of local conglomerate Akij Group, organised the popular flagship event of "Farm Fresh Children Day" for third consecutive year with the theme of “All children are equal, all play in the open”.
Organisers claimed the participation from children and parents was "overwhelming" as event experienced record breaking 30 thousand visitors this year.
Officials said that the festival was appreciated from different quarters as there were some unique opportunities for children in Bangladesh.
There were art competitions for children along with nine-dimension movie shows and three-dimension bioscope shows.
Besides, the guardians and children enjoyed the children fair which featured urban traditions, kids' book stalls, photo zone, nutrition booth, game zone, open cooking stage including riding zone.
Earlier on January 25, Anisul Hoque, Editor, Kishor Alo and Sheikh Shamim Uddin, Director, Akij Group inaugurated the two-day long kids' carnival at Kalabagan sport field in the capital's Dhanmondi.
The festival arena was open for all.
