Dhaka : In response to calls to increase foreign investment in specialised housing sector "Probashi Palli" is the first and gigantic foreign-invested project for local residents and non-resident Bangladeshis (NRB).

We have achieved our independence 45 years ago. In this long period of time no one ever thought about "housing for non-resident Bangladeshis (NRBs)" before Probashi Palli. The chance of investment of their hard-earned foreign currency is limited.

Keeping this in mind, Probashi Palli group has planned to provide some separated and specific housing plan for both "Probashi and Sho-deshi" Bangladeshis of different occupations and classes.

Probashi Palli Aba-shon Project started its journey on January 29, 2008 with a programme at the then Dhaka She-raton Hotel. Iftekhar Ahmed Chowdhury, former Adviser of Foreign Ministry, former Secretary, Ministry of Land, Anwar Chowdhury, former British High Commissioner, former Chairman of Bangladesh NGO Federation, former Chairman of British Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce, officials from Rajuk and some non-resident Bangladeshi (NRB) businessmen were present at the launching event.

"We, the team of Probashi Palli, always work with innovative plan to provide trustworthy, future-secured and specific housing plan for both Probashi and Shodeshi Bangladeshis of different occupations and classes," said Rifat Ahmed Shamal, General Manager, Sales and Marketing of Probashi Palli Group.

Though Probashi Palli has several projects, currently we are currently concentrating on Purbachal Project, named as "Purbachal Probashi Palli," which is situated near Kanchon Bridge, just beside Rajuk Purbachal Megacity adjacent with Dhaka-Sylhet Highway.

Rifat informed project development process is going on very fastly and they committed to handover the project as soon as possible.

Rifat said he has been in real estate industry over 14 years serving in different reputed companies. "Probashi Palli has a different and positive working environment as well as working procedure. We work like a family, in a very secure and safe environment to work. Anyone can have a bright future in here in different departments."
