Dhaka: Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited (SIBL) signed an agreement with Qatar based Al Zaman Exchange W.L.L regarding remittance drawing on March 3 at Shahjalal Islami Bank’s Corporate Head Office.
M. Shahidul Islam, Managing Director and CEO, Shahjalal Islami Bank Ltd. and Mohammed Anwar Sadath, Managing Director, Al Zaman Exchange W.L.L signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations.
Under this agreement Bangladeshi expatriates living in Qatar can now send their money safely and quickly to their beneficiaries by electronic fund transfer facility through all of the branches of Shahjalal Islami Bank Ltd. all over Bangladesh.

Akther Hossain, Deputy Managing Director, Shahjalal Islami Bank Ltd., Muhammed Abdul Majid, Head of International Division of the bank, Zubair Abdul Rahiman, Operations Manager, Al Zaman Exchange, Adarsha Shenava, Forex Manager, Al Zaman Exchange and other executives from both organisations were also present in the signing ceremony.
