Dhaka: US-Bangla Airlines has added next generation ATR 72-600 aircraft to its fleet making the private carrier the first in the country’s aviation history to operate such a brand new aircraft on domestic routes.
Currently, Air India, IndiGo, Malaysian Airlines, Malindo Air and Lion Air are also using this aircraft model of the ATR series fully equipped with the latest technology.
US-Bangla is operating brand new aircraft for domestic flights from Dhaka to Chattogram, Sylhet, Jashore, Cox’s Bazar, Syedpur, Rajshahi and Barishal.
By adding the latest brand new ATR 72-600 to its fleet alongside Boeing 737-800 and Dash 8-Q 400 aircraft, US-Bangla Airlines is now the largest private carrier in Bangladesh.
The airline is now operating 4 Boeing 737-800s, 3 Dash 8-Q 400s and 2 ATR 72-600s. Two more ATR 72-600 aircraft will be added to its fleet in June.
