Dhaka: The Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) has approved Malaysia Airlines to resume flights to and from Dhaka from July 17.
The flag carrier of Malaysia received the approval from CAAB on July 8, the airline said in a press release.
Shaikh Bashir Ahmed, Vice Chairman and CEO, GSA-Malaysia Airlines in Bangladesh, said, "Recently, we applied for CAAB's approval for resuming flights on the Dhaka-Kuala Lumpur route. On July 8, the civil aviation authority has approved our request."
Thus, the carrier will start operating scheduled passenger flights to and from Dhaka from July 17.
