Etihad Cargo launches industry-first logistics training academy

Dhaka: Etihad Cargo, the cargo and logistics arm of Etihad Airways, has launched the Etihad Cargo Excellence Hub, billed as the air cargo industry's first logistics training academy established by an airline.

The platform is designed to maintain consistent operational, safety, and compliance standards across Etihad Cargo's global partner network, the airline said in a release on June 25.

Etihad Cargo said structured capability development has become critical to maintaining reliability and customer trust as regulatory complexity increases and networks continue to expand worldwide.

The Excellence Hub offers mandatory and elective training for Etihad Cargo representatives and stakeholders globally. Its curriculum covers the airline's operating standards, products, and service framework, along with safety and compliance modules aligned with international regulations.

The program also includes industry-certified courses delivered with accredited institutions, as well as targeted soft skills training aimed at strengthening customer engagement across the network.

By embedding structured learning across its ecosystem, Etihad Cargo said it aims to strengthen risk management, improve operational consistency, and protect service quality at every touchpoint. The digital platform allows scalable, standardized knowledge deployment regardless of geography.

Stanislas Brun, Chief Cargo Officer at Etihad Airways, said the Excellence Hub ensures global partners operate to the same safety, compliance, and service standards, adding that consistency becomes a competitive advantage as the airline grows.

Brun said the initiative protects the airline's brand, strengthens performance discipline, and directly supports the customer experience Etihad Cargo has committed to delivering.
