flydubai wins connectivity award for third time

Dubai
: flydubai has been named "Airline with the Best Connectivity in the
Middle East" at the Business Traveller Middle East Awards 2026, marking
the third time the Dubai-based carrier has received the recognition.
The
award, determined by votes from readers of Business Traveller Middle East
magazine and the public, recognizes the airline's efforts to expand
connectivity across the region and support travel, trade and tourism through
its growing network.
The
recognition comes as flydubai continues to expand its operations. The airline
recently launched three weekly flights to Benghazi, Libya, and is set to begin
daily services to Bangkok from July 1 and flights to Pokhara from September 23.
During
the summer season, the carrier is also operating seasonal routes to
destinations including Al Alamein, Antalya, Batumi, Dubrovnik, Mykonos, Olbia,
Santorini, and Trabzon.
Launched
in 2009, flydubai now serves more than 100 destinations with a fleet of Boeing
737 aircraft. The airline said its expansion has connected more than 100
destinations that previously had no direct air links to Dubai, supporting the
emirate's position as a regional aviation hub and offering passengers greater
travel options.
