Air India earns multiple global travel awards


New
Delhi : Air India has won several international travel industry awards
recognizing improvements in its onboard services, entertainment, cabin comfort,
and food and beverage offerings as the airline continues its transformation
program.
The
carrier received two honors from the Airline Passenger Experience Association
(APEX), winning Best Onboard Beverage (Hot) for its "Cutting Chai"
served in First and Business Class on international flights, and Best
Entertainment in Central/Southern Asia for its inflight entertainment system.
Air India said its entertainment library offers more than 3,000 hours of video
and audio content.
The
airline also secured the PAX International Readership Award for Best
First-Class Bedding and Soft Products in South Asia, while its Vista Stream
wireless inflight entertainment platform won the PAX Tech Readership Award for
Best IFE and Connectivity in the region.
In
addition, Air India received the TravelPlus 2026 Gold Award for its Premium
Economy bedding and comfort products, recognizing upgrades beyond its premium
cabins.
At
the Cellars in the Sky Awards 2026, the airline earned a Silver award in the
Business Class Sparkling Wine category for serving Charles Heidsieck Brut
Réserve Champagne.
