SalamAir launches direct flights from Sylhet to Muscat

The airline will operate
three weekly flights on the route, said a release. SalamAir already operates
seven weekly flights from Dhaka as well as 12 weekly flights from Chattogram.
The new route offers
travelers convenient departures from both Muscat and Salalah, with seamless
connections via Muscat, providing passengers with more accessibility across
Oman, added the release.
On the occasion, the
carrier is offering one-way fares from OMR 66.99.
With this, SalamAir becomes
the first and only international airline currently to operate scheduled
services to all three international airports in Bangladesh.
Bangladesh continues to
be one of South Asia's fastest-growing aviation markets, recording annual
aviation growth of approximately 7.5 percent.
Increasing international
travel, a growing expatriate community, and expanding tourism and business
opportunities are the key factors driving the growing demand, concluded the
release.
